PCMtuner, It supports most of the ecu and has multifunction for use. Pay attention to most of the car and ecu model, it also has more functions and cavities. FC200 it works on most of the main bosh ecu and has an annual fee but very easy to use.

FC200, BMW ISN'de works well.

Summary:

  • FC200 has more protocols.
  • FC200 can only do checksum correction online. Checksum will not work if subscription ends.
  • FC-200 only works on Bosch ECUs, so for Magneti Marelli, Contintial or Siemens pcmtuner is better.
  • PCMTuner is better if you want to use it for dpf,egr,adblue off and remap.
  • FC200 can only do some BMW ECUs via OBD.
  • PCMTuner v1.21 cannot do BMW ECUs (EDC17xx etc.).

In conclusion, it depends on what is the main purpose of your purchase. FC-200 can be useful for BMW ISN from Ecu or for some Ecu cloning. But only some of them can be useful. Because most of MEDC17 need adaptation of OTP and password or immo transfer for successful cloning.

It is better to have both. FC-200 only has bosh ecus, but it has more pin out schemes for each ECU it supports, and more user friendly pcmtuner supports various ecus including denso etc which will easily complete your work. They are quite cheap compared to Flex, AT etc.
