What are the Uses of TP4056 Lithium Battery Charging Module Micro USB?
This charging module with Micro USB input is recommended for single-cell Li-ION batteries. You can also charge single-cell lithium polymer batteries. There is TP4056 integrated on it.
The current of the charge is constant. That's why you have the possibility of calculation. When the battery is fully charged or if the battery is not connected, the voltage is stabilized and the Green LED lights up. In the charging case, the Red LED lights up.
Lithium Battery Charging Module Specifications
- Made of smd materials.< / li>
- has the self-regulation current property.< / li>
- It can be charged between 100 mA and 1000 mA Dec.< / li>
Microcontrollers such as Arduino have pins that can inform the charging status and have a battery protection circuit. The charging current is set to 1A. If you want, you can change the current value with the resistor.
The TP4056 linear charger integrated on the 1A Li-Po battery charging circuit is designed to charge 1S batteries operating between 4.2Dec-3.6V. Charging with shorter-term currents may damage the battery.
3.6 V batteries can be charged by connecting to the battery ports indicated by BAT- and BAT+ on the bottom of the card.
The wires to be used in battery connections must be durable and of high quality. Otherwise, it will affect the current, as the wires will remain without resistance. This, in turn, will provide a poor-quality charge and will degrade the module over time.
Technical Details of Lithium Battery Charging Module
- TP4056 Lithium Charger Integrated
- 5 V Input Voltage
- 4.2V Charging Voltage
- Micro USB Port
- Charging Method: CCCV
- 1.5% Charging Accuracy at Output Voltage
- Card Dimensions 25- 19- 10 mm
There are Micro USB connectors on the product. Power input can be provided via this connection and charging supply can be made with the source.
If you want this module with an output sensitivity of 1.5%, you can feed it from the Micro USB input or the input pins located on it at a voltage of 5 V. It should not be above 5 Volts. If it rises above it, the supply voltage will cause excess heat. This in turn causes the charging current to decrease. If the battery module is connected in reverse, the module will break down.
When you examine the Lithium Battery Charging Module, you will also see that the length of the module is 25 mm, the width is 19 mm. It is a small structure and an economical product.
Since the modules are factory-installed, they have been tested and put on the market. Therefore, it will be more convenient to charge the module by connecting a single battery. We cannot predict how it reacts when more than one battery is connected.
In Terms of Being More Descriptive;
- Charging Mode: Linear
- Charging Current: 1A
- Input Voltage: 4.5V – 5.5V
- Input Interface: Micro USB
- Card Dimensions: 25x19x10 mm
It will be healthier not to go beyond the specified usage. You will use it with peace of mind because its use will be longer lasting both for the module and for you.
